1. What inspired you to become a food tour guide?

I really love sharing good food, drinks and good moments with guests from different countries. It’s also a good opportunity to learn more about other countries gastrononomy.

2. What’s the most important thing you hope guests take away from your food tours?

I love telling histories, and I hope at the end that they really have had a great experience.

3. How do you help guests connect with local culture and community?

Trying to give some tips of really authentic places for them to visit and how to behave with the locals.

4. Can you share a memorable moment from one of your tours?

Sometime I hear some guests mention how some of the food they are tasting can bring some old family memories.

5. Which is your city’s best place?

Foz do Douro, where Douro river ends it’s way from Spain in the Atlantic Ocean.
