How do I book online?
Click the BOOK NOW! button on each tour’s page and follow the steps. This short video will walk you through our booking process.
How early should I book the tour?
Better sooner than later! Usually with a minimum of a week we have time to adapt the plannings.
When is the best time to take the tour?
It is always better to do the tour at the beginning of your journey, since we give you a lot of tips and insights about the city you are in.
Are many restaurants are closed on Sundays? Would it be better for us to do the tour on another night (not Sunday?)
Not at all, we are lucky we have selected a large range of partners and can provide the same quality tour from Monday to Sunday, 364 days a year.
How many people attend each tour?
We like to keep it small, so we usually have an average of 8 people per tour, maximum 10.
Can I book a private tour?
Private tours are usually made for large groups, under 4 to 6 we do not offer private tours. Also important to know, private tours are charged with an extra fee of €60/group. Price to be added to the balance indicated and due to the guide the day of the tour.
Are tours offered in English?
Most of our tours (99%) are in English, but our guides speak Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Catalan, Italian and Romanian also!
Is the tour suitable for children?
The Sweets tour and the Market tour being day tours are adapted for families.
If I am bringing an infant/very young child, do I need to purchase a ticket for them?
Under 4 years old you do not need to buy a seat for our tours.
What happens if it rains?
Rain is good for the hair! Fortunately our tours at pic-nics and we eat inside, so weather doesn’t affect us.
How long is the tour? How much walking is included?
Depends of the tour. The most walk able tour is the Sweets tour, been an historical walking tour with Sweets along the way. Otherwise our tours are more focus on food rather than conventional walking tours. So usually we walk an average of 1 to 2 km big maximum on our tours.
If I do not drink alcohol, can I get discount?
Unfortunately no, we do not have any specific deals with our partners for non alcoholic drinkers since soft drinks are even more expensive than wine in this country!
How much food is served on the tour?
We have a different tours, but all of them have been created to let you enjoy a large range of food in a very lay back attitude. We like to eat, we like to drink, we love to take time for that. Food needs time, so do we!
What types of food are served on the tour?
Local food! We like to propose you a large range of local delights and usually do not go for stereotypes. You might for example not eat paellas and sangria on our tours. We will be happy to provide you with good addresses for that, no doubt! But with us, you will eat and drink local products you might not eat on your own. That is the idea of a food tour, discover and learn with fun.
On the day of the tour
Where will the tour start? Does the tour ends at the same place?
All tours have different meeting points, all of them are indicated in the vouchers and directly on our website at the page of the tour.
Do I have to print my voucher? How will the guide recognise me?
You do not need to print the voucher, if you have it on your phone, better! The guide will be posted right in front the meeting point and will probably come to you to ask if you are “a food lover” (that’s the secret password :-)).
Can I pay my balance by credit card?
Unfortunately not all of our guides are equipped with credit cards. If you wish to do so, please let us know writing at email@example.com at least 24h before the tour.
Are there vegetarian options on the tour?
Yes there are, please just specify it in “ALLERGIES/INTOLERANCE” in order to adapt our tour for you and let us know also if you eat fish too.
What if I have allergies/dietary restrictions?
No problem about it, please indicate it in “ALLERGIES/INTOLERANCE” in the booking process and we will make sure to adapt our tour for you. If this information is not indicated before the tour, we might not be able to offer you suitable options.
Is the tour wheelchair and baby stroller accessible?
Yes, for that, please just indicate it in the booking process in “COMMENT”.
Cancellations & no-shows
Can I get refund or can I reschedule the tour?
You can be refund up to 48 hours before the tour, you can be rescheduled if you ask it in advance and in the limit of the available seats we have per tour.
What happens if I arrive late?
No stress, you still have time to join the group if you are 15 to 20 minutes late.
We ask your phone number in the booking process for that. If you are late, the process is the following: 5 minutes after the starting time and a second call after 10 minutes. We can join you? Then we send you an email with the address of the first stop where you’ll be able to join the group. If you are too late (half an hour) please contact us.
How can I pay and what payment methods do you accept?
A first payment is asked online in order to book the tour. You can pay by credit card. The balance payment will be asked directly on the tour by the local guide.
What happens if I have to cancel? And if the tour is cancelled?
We have a cancellation policy. Up to 48 hours you are fully reimbursed. If the tour is cancelled you are obviously fully reimbursed to.
