Also the nearby Arcachon Bay is famous for its oysters, and Bordeaux residents enjoy fresh oysters from the region. If you haven’t tried them, we will make sure to help you too and with a little fruity white wine the experience is even better! (if you are not into oysters, don’t panic we will provide you with other wonderful options).

From breakfast to market tasting and typical lunch, this tour is a must eat of the city!
We work with small groups and visit small, intimate locations, so you can meet the owners and learn from them. Our groups are limited to a small number of participants to ensure proximity and quality.
Since we wanted to show you the most complete food tour possible, we have decided to include everything you should test on a top Bordeaux Food Lover Tour.
We will start the tour with an Artisanal Bakeries so we you taste warm local french pastries. A top 5 Bordeaux pastry shop selected just for you.
After a small historical walk through Bordeaux, we will then stop in a fantastic and most incredible first stop, a hidden gem, for our local specialty and most famous Canelé, with of course coffee or tea on the side. Canelé is a beloved dessert, small little pastry, caramelized and with a custardy interior and a hint of rum and vanilla.
Breakfast ending it is time to go for real! We will therefore go to a colorful market in Bordeaux in order to eat and drink. The most emblematic market of the city including, rare and high quality charcuteries, enjoying a platter of local cured meats, another stop for a wine tasting to refresh our pucks, a cheese investigation and little stop for most authentic bistrot inside the market to savor fresh oysters between others options with with pairing local wine.
Soft Drinks not included in the price. To conclude our fantastic adventure we will wald a bit (approximately 5 to 10 mins for digestion) and will have a lunch at a traditional “Bordelais” restaurant for a food and wine paired tasting time and of course finishing with a sweet treat for a delightful finish.
