THE TOUR
On this food tour you will not only taste some of Portugal’s most traditional food, you will do so in three authentic Lisbon settings, experiencing one of the best things to do in Lisbon – listening to the greatest local singers of our generation in our Fado stop.
Fado and food are abundant in Lisbon, the tricky thing is finding the authentic places where to enjoy not just any food but great food and deeply moving professional Fado instead of tourist trap amateurs. Our mission is to take you places you are very unlikely to end-up in otherwise and offer you a taste of the highest quality Portuguese dishes.
In three unique environments, you will experience the traditional Lisbon evening, tasting wines, sharing some food and listening to the beautiful ”saudades” of Fado. For those who are still confused about what this “Fado” is all about, we recommend you leave it to your heart and ears to discover.
Defining Fado would be useless as each singer and every musician has their own distinctive touches and though the words are mostly sorrowful, they will surprise you with an occasional light and joyful tune.

The perfect tour to experience Lisbon with your taste buds and soul
Food and Fado is a true innovative concept we have created few years ago. Not just for the tittle which indeed fits perfectly, but because we though that arts of music would combine perfectly with food.
Fado is typically composed by a singer (Fadista) and a Portuguese guitar and sometimes also a classical guitar (We recommend you to listen to Amália Rodrigues to get to know what fado is).
This magical food tour is a poetry and tribute to Portugal. From a delicious local multicultural food scene, you will discover in Lisbon on our Food and Fado food tour a large spectrum of fresh products and watery local drinks. But you will also enjoy a small concert of Fado that you will remember for a long time. With a maximum of ten people per tour, we can assure you personal attention and unique experience.
A 3-stop journey starting in a Portuguese tavern with wine pairings, followed by a traditional restaurant where we will have some local petiscos , and ending in Lisbon’s Temple of Fado.
Tours in English, other languages on demand.
