Just outside Barcelona, enjoy tapas, vermouth, and beach vibes where locals and footballers escape the city.
THE TOUR
Castelldefels sits just outside Barcelona, a relaxed beach town with wide sands and a touch of luxury. Once a simple fishing village, it’s now where locals and footballers like Messi unwind, away from the city buzz. You’ll get a taste of that unique mix: sea air, great wine, and seriously good food.
The food tour starts with a stroll along the shore, the Mediterranean breeze in your face. You’ll kick things off at a buzzing tapas spot loved for its wide variety of dishes—think crispy patatas bravas, fried eggplant, and seafood straight off the coast. The wine list? Packed with excellent local bottles. And for beer lovers, there’s an impressive craft selection to match.
Next, we slow things down at one of the area’s best-kept secrets: a vermutería with over 50 different vermouths. This place is a local ritual—bold, bitter, herbaceous, and made to be sipped slowly as the sun starts to dip.
Then dive into tapas and pintxos at a spot only those in the know frequent. You’ll try dishes that nod to tradition but with a polished edge. The finale? A beachside chiringuito where you can sink into the evening, glass in hand, toes in the sand, with the sea all around.
